In latin, null means none or nothing, and -aris is a suffix used to indicate something pertains to the first part. So Nullaris loosely means "pertaining to nothing."
The current dominant apps, let's call them the doom scrollers, have become bloated pastries of useless features designed to abstract information from you in order to position ads. It sucks.
Nullaris is an attempt to reverse that trend by distilling the doom scrollers down to their barest elements, and removing any trace personal information. Just words, images, videos pertaining to nothing.
