As a Backend as a Service (BaaS), allyabase can do a lot of things. Its first entry point is as a social media aggregator for the open protocols used by The Fediverse, and Bluesky, so these instructions will start there, and then wiki out as use cases are established and discovered.
A base is a collection of Miniservices, served by servers 
, on a computer with network access. I'm going to try my best here to layout instructions on how to run one presuming no prior knowledge of any of these computing things.
Unfortunately this means supplementing some of the technical doings with money, but I'll try to keep that to a minimum too. Like less than $10/mo.
Wherever possible I'm going to try to link to relevant docs on what concepts are, as it's useful to see, but don't feel like you need to read pages and pages on what's going on. A simple understanding of the jargon should suffice.
